Last week,  Khloe ,  Kourtney  and  Kim Kardashian  took their little ones on a grand trip to Bali in honor of Kim's 38th birthday. A source told E! News the sisters "were so excited to be all together in a beautiful new place with so much to see." The insider revealed they stayed at the luxurious Soori hotel, "in a beachfront estate right on the sand" for five days, which cost an  estimated  $30,000. Angela  Merkel  has been chairwoman of the CDU since 2000 German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said she will not seek re-election as party chairwoman and that her fourth term as chancellor would be her last. The decision heralds the end of a 13-year era in which she has dominated European politics. Ms Merkel, 64, has been chairwoman of her conservative Christian Democrats (CDU) since 2000 and chancellor since 2005. Her decision to step down as chairwoman comes after her party suffered its second regional election setback in as many weeks. Ms Merkel made the announcement a day after Sunday's vote in the state of Hesse, at which the CDU came first but suffered a slump in support from the last election there in 2013. Jamal  Khashoggi  was murdered after entering the  Saudi  consulate in Istanbul on 2 October The fiance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi has said Saudi authorities are responsible for his murder, and the kingdom should give more details so that those responsible can be brought to justice. The death of Mr Khashoggi - a Washington Post columnist and a critic of Saudi Arabia's de facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - sparked global outrage and pitched the world's top oil exporter into crisis. When asked who was ultimately responsible for the killing, his fiance, Hatice Cengiz, told Reuters in Turkish: "This took place inside a Saudi diplomatic mission ... Princess  Ayako of Japan is no longer a royal after she got married to a commoner. The 28-year old who renounced her royal status to wed a commoner, tied the knot on Monday morning October 29th in a Shinto ceremony at Tokyo’s historic Meiji Shrine. Her groom, Kei Moriya, 32, is a shipping executive. A small group of about 30 family members attended the wedding ceremony, according to news reports. Ayako, who is the daughter of the emperor's cousin, spoke to reporters following the ceremony to express her joy. She said: How happy I am that so many people have celebrated (our marriage). We want to make efforts to become a couple like my mother and father. President  Buhari today said that Nigeria has left the era in which democratic norms are brazenly subverted, with votes awarded to those favoured by the government in power and those whose mandates were stolen are told to go to court if they were not happy. President Buhari stated this while receiving members of the Joint United Nations, African Union and ECOWAS Good Offices Mission on Elections in the state house Abuja. "I am highly qualified to talk on this, having ended in Supreme Court three times, after participating in elections with disputed results. Where will a man looking for where his next meal would come from, have money to hire lawyers, particularly senior advocates?" the President said. He assured his guests that the 2019 polls would be free and fair  "The President has only one vote, governors have a vote each, just like anybody else. EFCC seeks Final Forfeiture of Patience Jonathan's $8.4m, N9.2bn

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,   EFCC , today Monday, October 29th, moved an application seeking the final forfeiture of the sums of $8, 435, 788.84 and N9.2bn linked to the wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan, Patience. The application was supported with an affidavit , two exhibits and a written address. Moving the application before Justice Mojisola Olatoregun of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, the EFCC, through its counsel, Rotimi Oyedepo, urged the court to grant its prayers for the final forfeiture of the various sums of money.  Counsel to first respondent , Ifedayo Adedipe, SAN told the court that he had filed a motion and a written address, which he relied on all for the processes filed.  He stated that the EFCC had not invited the first respondent for questioning regarding the alleged money found in her account. He further submitted that the EFCC had not charged the first respondent to court for trial....

Chinese man desperate for a son sells his 10-day-old daughter to strangers for £4,500 (Photos)

A father in  desperate  need for a son has been arrested in east  China  for selling his newborn daughter. According to Yiwu police in Zhejiang province, the man,  Xiaohu,  thought his wife was going to have a baby boy but was left disappointed that his second child turned out to be another girl. Due to the outcome, Xiaohui sold off the 10 -day-old  baby to a couple in another province for £4,500 in late September.  The man was reported to Police by his mother after she realised that her granddaughter had gone missing.  Li , 42, told police that she was going to visit her son to help take care of the newborn girl like she did when her first granddaughter was born. But he refused. In early October, Li finally visited her daughter-in-law when her son was not home, but the baby was nowhere to be found.  According to her, she immediately questioned her son about the baby's whereabouts but he refused to answer her. ...

After two weeks in detention, Fayose regains freedom from EFCC custody (Photo)

  Former Ekiti State governor, Ayodele   Fayose , has been released from prison after meeting his bail condition. His lawyer, Mike Ozekhome, a senior advocate of Nigeria said “yes he has been released. He has perfected his bail conditions and was released this evening. I was with him and he was in a very high spirit, vowing to fight till this clueless administration is voted out of power". Fayose’s spokesperson, Lere Olayinka, wrote, “Fayose just regained his freedom. He left the Federal High Court, Ikoyi a few minutes ago. We will meet EFCC at the court from November 19. Thank you Nigerians.” Fayose was arraigned at a High Court in Lagos after he presented himself at the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Abuja. He was later granted a N50 million bail, but failed to meet the conditions on Friday.

Senator  Shehu  Sani who recently resigned from the ruling APC, has predicted the end of the party after the tenure of President Buhari. In an interview with Channels TV, Sani said President Buhari is at the moment the heart, soul and oxygen of the party. “APC cannot last beyond the political lifespan of President Muhammadu Buhari. Buhari remains the heart, soul and oxygen of the party. I don’t think after Buhari, there will be APC again in the sense that everything begins and ends with him,” Sani said. Sani stated that th ruling party has in all ways disappointed Nigerians. “I believe that APC has in every possible way disappointed not only those who are its members, but it disappointed the country,” he said.
