Attack on the PMF camp at Tenebo Village, Kwara state

The Commissioner of Police, Kwara State Command, CP Ojo Adekimi, psc, mnips, has received with profound shock and deep sorrow the report of a deadly attack on the PMF Camp at Tenebo Village, Kaiama LGA, which occurred in the early hours of today, 2nd May, 2026. This heinous and cowardly act, which claimed the lives of three gallant police officers and left several others critically injured, is strongly condemned in its entirety. The fallen officers paid the ultimate price in the line of duty, bravely standing to defend the safety and security of our communities. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. The Command extends its heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, and colleagues of the deceased officers during this moment of immense grief. We also pray for the swift recovery of the injured personnel currently receiving treatment.   PRESS RELEASE KWARA POLICE CRACK KIDNAPPING SYNDICATE IN BARUTEN, ARREST SIX SUSPECTS, RECOVER ARMS. The Kwara State Police Command has recorded another operational breakthrough in its sustained continuous offensive against kidnapping, with the arrest of six suspected kidnappers and the recovery of firearms following a coordinated intelligence driven operation in Baruten Local Government Area. On 23rd April 2026 at about 0030hrs, a case of kidnapping involving one Isaq J. ‘M’ of Boriya Village via Okuta was reported at the station. The suspects had demanded a ransom of Fifty Million Naira (₦50,000,000). Upon receipt of the report, the Command immediately activated a coordinated manhunt, mounting sustained operational pressure on the criminal elements, which led to the eventual release of the victim. Former Prince Andrew arrested on suspicion of Misconduct in public

The former  Prince, the younger brother of King Charles  Andrew mountbatten windsor   was arrested on misconduct in public office This morning 19/02/26. It follows ties with sex offender Jeffery Epstein.  At the moment, we still don't know which force has arrested Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor who turned 66 today, but vehicles - believed to be unmarked police cars - were seen earlier this morning at Sandringham in Norfolk, where he has been living since leaving his home in Windsor. This is the first time the former prince, who has faced numerous allegations over this links to the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has been arrested. Andrew has consistently and strenuously denied any wrongdoing. we understand he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. We do not know the particulars of this arrest but as soon as we have more detail we will bring it to you. This is a diffcult time for the royal family! His currently in police custody 

Veteran actor Femi Jarrett dies

  Veteran actor, screenwriter, producer and comedian Femi Jarrett passes away on  03/07/26. Femi Jarrett popularly known as Alagbin on Adios family during the 70s was born 16 Feburary 1949 in Calabar, Cross river state Nigeria. Femi Jarrett was a descent of the  Jibolu Taiwo family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Femi Jarrett was married to the late Clara Jarrett (Nee Kuboye)  In 1975 Femi Jarrett started his acting career on NTA soap opera show village headmaster, Adio Family, Cock crow at dawn, for better for worse and Odo wura. Femi Jarrett will be remembered for being a legendary actor and father to his only child Tolu Jarrett who is based in the UK. Burial announcements are yet to be announced according to the family May his gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace!

Muammar Gaddafi son shot dead by gunmen in Libya

  Saif al Islam Gaddafi, the son of Libya's late dictator Muammar Gaddafi, has been shot dead by gunmen who broke into his home, officials have said. The 53-year-old was killed during a "direct confrontation" with four armed men in the  Libyan  town of Zintan, south-west of the capital Tripoli, his office said in a statement on Tuesday. His lawyer, Khaled al Zaidi, and separately his adviser Abdullah Othman Abdurrahim, both confirmed his death on Facebook, without providing details.
