Ex-President Obasanjo Apologies To Odumakin For Manhandling Her During 2004 Nationwide Protest

Ex-Nigeria President, Olusegun Obasanjo has regrettably apologised to Dr Joe Odumakin, Nigerian women's rights activist and the president of the rights groups Women Arise for Change Initiative and the Campaign for Democracy, for the actions meted out of her during the 2004 nationwide protest in the country.

Dr Joe whose full name is Josephine Obiajulu Odumakin has tweeted.

She tweets, ""I apologise on behalf of d security operatives dat manhandled u during d 2004 protest" Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo told me."
