50 bodies burnt beyond recognition as fire razes morgue in Anambra (photos)
50 bodies were burnt beyond recognition in a fire incident that occurred at the mortuary section of Enugwu-Ukwu general hospital on Saturday, December 29th.
According to reports, the fire started at about 3pm and before they could get through to the the fire service department, the three-room-morgue had been raised down.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

  Veteran actor, screenwriter, producer and comedian Femi Jarrett passes away on  03/07/26. Femi Jarrett popularly known as Alagbin on Adios family during the 70s was born 16 Feburary 1949 in Calabar, Cross river state Nigeria. Femi Jarrett was a descent of the  Jibolu Taiwo family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Femi Jarrett was married to the late Clara Jarrett (Nee Kuboye)  In 1975 Femi Jarrett started his acting career on NTA soap opera show village headmaster, Adio Family, Cock crow at dawn, for better for worse and Odo wura.
