Former police IG Solomon Arase dies

Former IG police officer, Solomon Arase who was an IG during the Late president Buhari and Jonathan time dies today 31st August 2025. According to sources, one of his brothers said  he has been having an issue with his leg lately but as at the time of this report we are yet to find out what happened to him.

One of his close friends said he spoke to him last week, he was in good spirit, they were still cracking jokes amongst each other so when he heard about his passing this morning it came as a shock to him. 

IG Arase was a fine, brilliant, gentle and educated. The Late officer will be missed for his kindness, honesty and contribution to the Nigerian police force.

Veteran actor Femi Jarrett dies

  Veteran actor, screenwriter, producer and comedian Femi Jarrett passes away on  03/07/26. Femi Jarrett popularly known as Alagbin on Adios family during the 70s was born 16 Feburary 1949 in Calabar, Cross river state Nigeria. Femi Jarrett was a descent of the  Jibolu Taiwo family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Femi Jarrett was married to the late Clara Jarrett (Nee Kuboye)  In 1975 Femi Jarrett started his acting career on NTA soap opera show village headmaster, Adio Family, Cock crow at dawn, for better for worse and Odo wura. Femi Jarrett will be remembered for being a legendary actor and father to his only child Tolu Jarrett who is based in the UK.
