General and wife Princess Bajowa                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                The man who led 11 batalions of  Nigerian Army to defend Nigeria against Biafra in Ore during the Civil war,   [o le ku ija Ore] General Olu Bajowa Rtd is 77 years old today. The Rebuja of Osooro Land, Oba Gbadebo Bajowa who happens to be the younger brother to the General, led the people of the town, in company of Honourable Mike Adeniyi  Omogbehin to  pay an homeage to him  on his birthday.                                                                                                                                                The General thank the people of the town, especially God Almighty for sparing his life to witness his 77th years birthday despite being put in the guard room, surviving six coups and  all he went through when he was in the military.                                                                                                         Wishing you many more happy years with good health.

  Veteran actor, screenwriter, producer and comedian Femi Jarrett passes away on  03/07/26. Femi Jarrett popularly known as Alagbin on Adios family during the 70s was born 16 Feburary 1949 in Calabar, Cross river state Nigeria. Femi Jarrett was a descent of the  Jibolu Taiwo family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Femi Jarrett was married to the late Clara Jarrett (Nee Kuboye)  In 1975 Femi Jarrett started his acting career on NTA soap opera show village headmaster, Adio Family, Cock crow at dawn, for better for worse and Odo wura. Femi Jarrett will be remembered for being a legendary actor and father to his only child Tolu Jarrett who is based in the UK.
