BREAKING: Kiprotich Wins Lagos City Marathon

Kenyan athlete, Kiprotich has won the Lagos City Marathon, with a time of  two hours eight minutes.
In 2016, Kenyan athlete, Abraham Kiptum, won the maiden edition of the Lagos City Marathon race with a time of 2 hours, 16 minutes and 19 seconds.
This year’s edition which is the third edition saw 100,000 participants – double the number from last year, 2017.

  Veteran actor, screenwriter, producer and comedian Femi Jarrett passes away on  03/07/26. Femi Jarrett popularly known as Alagbin on Adios family during the 70s was born 16 Feburary 1949 in Calabar, Cross river state Nigeria. Femi Jarrett was a descent of the  Jibolu Taiwo family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Femi Jarrett was married to the late Clara Jarrett (Nee Kuboye)  In 1975 Femi Jarrett started his acting career on NTA soap opera show village headmaster, Adio Family, Cock crow at dawn, for better for worse and Odo wura. Femi Jarrett will be remembered for being a legendary actor and father to his only child Tolu Jarrett who is based in the UK.
