NBC bans Olamide's Wo, Davido's IF remix and 9ice's Living things

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC), has placed a ban on works by three of Nigeria’s music artistes, Olamide, Davido and 9ice for an alleged violation of its rules and regulations.
The songs include; Olamide’s Wo and Wavy Level;  a remix of Davido’s If and 9ice’s Living Things.

The commission did not give specific reasons for banning the songs but the decision is said to have been influenced by a recent reaction from the Federal Ministry of Health to the music video of Olamide’s Wo

  Veteran actor, screenwriter, producer and comedian Femi Jarrett passes away on  03/07/26. Femi Jarrett popularly known as Alagbin on Adios family during the 70s was born 16 Feburary 1949 in Calabar, Cross river state Nigeria. Femi Jarrett was a descent of the  Jibolu Taiwo family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Femi Jarrett was married to the late Clara Jarrett (Nee Kuboye)  In 1975 Femi Jarrett started his acting career on NTA soap opera show village headmaster, Adio Family, Cock crow at dawn, for better for worse and Odo wura. Femi Jarrett will be remembered for being a legendary actor and father to his only child Tolu Jarrett who is based in the UK.
