Kano state governor calls for arrest of the  former emir of Kano Ado Bayero The order was  in a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity, Government House, Kano, Sanusi Tofa.

The governor said Bayero should be arrested for allegedly creating tension in the state.

The statement titled ‘Gov. Yusuf Orders Arrest of Deposed Emir of Kano Aminu Ado Bayero,’ read, “The Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has ordered the immediate arrest of the former Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, for creating tension in the state. Bayero who no one has been aware of  his whereabouts since Thursday 3rd May 2024 the day he was deposed. He  returned back to his home state  Kano today, Saturday 25th May 2024. On the other hand, DSS general and top security chiefs met with the deposed emir in his mini palace, where he was moved too and solders surrounded the place   early hours of Saturday.

  Veteran actor, screenwriter, producer and comedian Femi Jarrett passes away on  03/07/26. Femi Jarrett popularly known as Alagbin on Adios family during the 70s was born 16 Feburary 1949 in Calabar, Cross river state Nigeria. Femi Jarrett was a descent of the  Jibolu Taiwo family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Femi Jarrett was married to the late Clara Jarrett (Nee Kuboye)  In 1975 Femi Jarrett started his acting career on NTA soap opera show village headmaster, Adio Family, Cock crow at dawn, for better for worse and Odo wura.
