Creedence legend John Fogerty for Bluesfest 2018

Grammy Award-winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer John Fogerty - lead singer of multi-million-selling blues-rock outfit Creedence Clearwater Revival - is to play this year's BluesFest.
The event returns to Dublin's 3Arena in October and Fogerty, performing his first headline show since 2008, will be joined on the October 26 bill by one of the top-selling acts of the 1970s, The Steve Miller Band.
Fogerty has penned a string of hits including Bad Moon Rising, Proud Mary, Rocking All Over the World and Have You Ever Seen The Rain, and has one of the most distinctive voices in rock.
Leo Green, Director Of Live Events, Live Nation, says: "Of course it goes without saying that John Fogerty and Steve Miller Band are two acts that have been on our wish list for some time and we’re delighted to have confirmed exclusive shows with them for this year’s BluesFest."

  Veteran actor, screenwriter, producer and comedian Femi Jarrett passes away on  03/07/26. Femi Jarrett popularly known as Alagbin on Adios family during the 70s was born 16 Feburary 1949 in Calabar, Cross river state Nigeria. Femi Jarrett was a descent of the  Jibolu Taiwo family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Femi Jarrett was married to the late Clara Jarrett (Nee Kuboye)  In 1975 Femi Jarrett started his acting career on NTA soap opera show village headmaster, Adio Family, Cock crow at dawn, for better for worse and Odo wura. Femi Jarrett will be remembered for being a legendary actor and father to his only child Tolu Jarrett who is based in the UK.
