Central Business District, Abuja was on lockdown this past weekend as members of the Tijaniyya Islamic sect trooped out in their numbers to celebrate their leader

The Central Business District of the nation's capital, Abuja came to a standstill this past weekend as members of the Tijaniyya sect trooped out to celebrate their Senegalese leader, Sheikh Ibrahim Niass who lived from 1900-1975.
Some Nigerians think the government is being hypocritical because the Shiites are not allowed to stage similar events without harassment.
