Modupe Ozolua pays homage to Oba of Benin and Ooni of Ife (photos)
Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II on Saturday paid a visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi. The Oba arrived at the palace with his chiefs and some dignitaries from the ancient city of Benin.

Prominent traditional rulers and notable indigenes of Ife, also joined the Ooni to receive the Benin monarch.

  Veteran actor, screenwriter, producer and comedian Femi Jarrett passes away on  03/07/26. Femi Jarrett popularly known as Alagbin on Adios family during the 70s was born 16 Feburary 1949 in Calabar, Cross river state Nigeria. Femi Jarrett was a descent of the  Jibolu Taiwo family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Femi Jarrett was married to the late Clara Jarrett (Nee Kuboye)  In 1975 Femi Jarrett started his acting career on NTA soap opera show village headmaster, Adio Family, Cock crow at dawn, for better for worse and Odo wura. Femi Jarrett will be remembered for being a legendary actor and father to his only child Tolu Jarrett who is based in the UK.
