EastEnders has confirmed that star Lisa Hammond will be leaving the BBC soap later this year after four years in the role of Donna Yates.
Hammond chose to leave the show, describing her time playing Donna as "great".
"I've made lifelong friends at EastEnders and will really miss all of the brilliant cast and crew who have always been a pleasure to work with! I look forward to what the future brings," she told UK publication Metro.

A BBC spokesperson said: "Lisa has been a fantastic addition to the cast and she will be missed. We wish her all the very best for the future."
No details were given of stallholder Donna's exit storyline, which will play out in "the coming months".
EastEnders airs on RTÉ One and BBC One on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
