The 64-year-old retired professional wrestler initially shared a photo with Bam before later deleting the tweet and confessing he meant to write about Margera's late Jackass co-star Ryan Dunn.

Well-wishes: Hulk Hogan took to Twitter on Monday to share a moving tribute to his 'brother' Bam Margera, before realizing the reality star is not dead; seen in 1996 

'Damn Bam I wish you were still with us,' the World Wrestling Entertainment athlete wrote on Twitter. 'I sure would love to hang out again my brother love u miss u HH.'

With the short and sweet message, Hulk attached a photo of the pair from what appeared to be a screenshot on his cellphone.

Fans were quick to question the remarks and made sure to fill their favorite wrestler in on the news that Bam was still very much alive.
