Journalist and islamic scholar, rasheed Abubakar has challenged former aviation minister Femi Fani-Kayode to a debate to discuss the origin and history of Jerusalem.

This comes after Fani Kayode tweeted a congratulatory message to President Trump on moving the US embassy to Jerusalem, Israel.

FFK tweeted. 'Today a great and ancient prophecy shall be fulfilled.The USA, the worlds most powerful and wealthy nation,shall move its embassy to Jerusalem,the eternal and undisputed capital of Israel. It is a day of joy, victory and celebration. God bless @realDonaldTrump! God bless Israel!'.

Abubakar in his response said, 'I wonder how a lawyer like @realFFK could hail @POTUS 4 going against int'l law! Don't u know d legal status of #Jerusalem? It has been a disputed land long before u were born and all the 3 Abrahamic faiths hav maintained d status quo. Stop exhibiting your ignorance.
