Mavin records boss and award winning producer, Don Jazzy has come out to say the Nigerian entertainmnet industry needs more song writers because as it stands there are too many artists.

In a series of tweets, Don Jazzy said, 'I think what our industry needs now is more song writers. We have too many artists as it is'.

He also said, 'actually the music industry has soooo many positions to fill other than being on stage. And I know some of you have the skills'.

  Veteran actor, screenwriter, producer and comedian Femi Jarrett passes away on  03/07/26. Femi Jarrett popularly known as Alagbin on Adios family during the 70s was born 16 Feburary 1949 in Calabar, Cross river state Nigeria. Femi Jarrett was a descent of the  Jibolu Taiwo family of Egbaland in Abeokuta, Ogun state. Femi Jarrett was married to the late Clara Jarrett (Nee Kuboye)  In 1975 Femi Jarrett started his acting career on NTA soap opera show village headmaster, Adio Family, Cock crow at dawn, for better for worse and Odo wura. Femi Jarrett will be remembered for being a legendary actor and father to his only child Tolu Jarrett who is based in the UK.
