Obi Cubana priest gets N10m bail
Cubana chief priest Pascal Okechukwu, who pleaded not guilty to the charge was however confessed to bail the sum of N10m with two sureties in like sum.
Justice Ogundare is trial judge in the matter. Okechukwu is being prosecuted by the Economic and Fianical Crimes Commission (EFCC)
At the arraignment, EFCC through its counsel Bilikisu Buhari informed the court that the defendant committed the alledged offence on February 13th 2024 by spraying the notes at the Eko Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria while dancing.
The unlawful act commmited by Okechukwu according to the commission are opposing to and punishable under Section 21 (1) of the Central Bank Act 2007.
Mr Chika Ojukwu Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) gives prayers to the court to grant his client bail in the most liberal terms.
